Who should use TaxOne?

TaxOne is for tax payers seeking hassle-free tax preparation. Tax payers simply fill out a basic tax questionnaire and drop off their tax information at one of over 3,000 convenient locations. They can then go and do more important things while a TaxOne Preparer does their return. The average tax return will be ready in about one to two hours. Complex returns may take longer. TaxOne is also a great alternative for tax payers looking for lower cost Refund Anticipation Loans (RALS). Tax payers can save up to 50% on last years RAL price with ANEW Refund Anticipation Loans. Tax payers can choose to have money deposited directly to their bank account or receive a printed check.

How do I get started?
Simply fill out the tax organizer you received at the TaxOne location or complete the wizard or fill-able Tax Organizer online. Take the completed tax organizer, W-2s, and other tax documents to a TaxOne partner location. How fast can I get my refund?
How fast do you need money? Money can be received within minutes (instantly) after your return is prepared, or you can wait a few hours, or a few days. Below are the available refund options.
Can you explain the different refund options?

If you are receiving a tax refund from the IRS, you have several options on how you can receive the funds.

Slow (IRS E-File)  Next to mailing a paper return, e-filing is the slowest method to receive your money, however, it will not cost you any additional fees. You can receive your money typically within 14 to 21 days. It can be direct deposited into your personal bank account, or a check can be mailed to you.

Fast (Refund Transfer (RT))  Refund Transfers typically take 7 to 14 days to receive your money and costs an additional $30.95 for account set up.

ANEW Refund Anticipation Loans (RAL) will save you 50% on last years RALs*. Select one of the ANEW RAL options:

Faster (ANEW Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL))  Once your tax return is complete TaxOne will have money to you in 24 to 48 hours via a Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL). RAL processing costs $30.95 for account set up plus a finance charge that is based on the size of the loan. For the average loan of $2,700 the finance charge will be about $28. There are no additional fees if money is deposited to a bank account. There is an additional fee of $10 for a printed check.

Fastest (ANEW Advance Refund Anticipation Loan))  Receive funds instantly (within minutes) with an ANEW ARAL. ARAL processing costs $30.95 for account set up plus a finance charge that is based on the size of the loan. For the average loan of $2,700 the finance charge will be about $28. There is an additional instant surcharge of $39. There are no additional fees if money is deposited to a bank account. There is an additional fee of $10 for a printed check.

Customer service reps at the TaxOne locations will scan your tax information and transmit it to one of our qualified tax professionals over a secure, HTTPS site  protected with 128 bit encryption with client-host authentication. The TaxOne location does not keep any of your original tax documents. TaxOnes security meets the highest standards of internet and computer security.

How much will my tax preparation cost?

TaxOne preparation fees vary depending on the complexity of the return, number of tax forms, number of dependents, etc. Since each return is different, we cannot give you an estimate of your fees. However, our rates are competitive with the leading tax preparation firms in the United States.

In addition to tax preparation fees you may incur fees for the purchase of ANEW fast money options like the ANEW Refund Anticipation Loan. These fees vary and are based on the size and duration of the loan.

How soon can I expect to have my taxes completed?
TaxOne will begin preparing your taxes after they have been submitted by the TaxOne location. The typical tax return will be completed in about one to two hours. More complex returns could take longer. Once your tax return is completed, we will notify you to pick up your return.
If I receive a refund, why should I choose the ANEW refund option?

Some tax payers feel they cannot wait for a check from the IRS. For these tax payers, ANEW Refund Anticipation Loans may be a better option. With ANEW Refund Anticipation Loans you can receive money in 24 to 48 hours. Also, this year ANEW RALs can save you up to 50% over traditional refund anticipation loan products offered last year.* If 24 to 48 hours is not fast enough an instant option is also available for an additional fee. Is someone from the TaxOne location preparing my taxes for me?
No. The TaxOne drop off location is just that  a place to drop off your tax information for preparation by a TaxOne tax specialist. One of our 40,000 qualified tax professionals will preparer your return. The average TaxOne return will be prepared by a tax professional with an average of 8.5 years of experience. How will my personal information be protected?*

Once your information is processed by the TaxOne center, all paper copies will be returned to you. TaxOne will not keep any paper files of your information at the partner location or at the tax preparation site.

Will TaxOne stand behind their work if I should be audited by the IRS?
Yes. If TaxOne is responsible for an error, we will correct the mistake, file an amended return, and pay any penalties and interest owed to the IRS.
